FxPro offers an FCA-regulated UK entity that is an FSCS member, negative balance protection in its client agreement, and probably the broadest platform choice on our list: its own platform, MT4, MT5, cTrader and TradingView. Clients outside the UK are served by offshore entities (Bahamas, Seychelles) with no compensation scheme stated. It also does not publish a minimum deposit or a typical EUR/USD spread.

What to weigh up

Which entity are you joining?

FxPro’s homepage says ‘5 industry regulations’, but the licences page we could read listed three. Third-party directories also list CySEC and FSCA-regulated FxPro entities; we could not confirm those on FxPro’s own page or the CySEC register, so we have not counted them.

Costs and pricing

FxPro’s Standard account shows floating spreads from 1.2 pips on MT4 and MT5 with no commission stated. Raw+ shows ‘zero spreads (for 90%+ of the trading day)’ plus a commission of up to US$3.50 per lot per side, and Elite shows zero spreads with commission rebates of up to 21%. The cTrader account lists spreads from 0.2 pips and a US$35 commission per US$1 million traded. A typical EUR/USD spread and a minimum deposit are not clearly published. Leverage is listed as up to 1:500, varying by jurisdiction.

Platforms, tools and education

FxPro lists its own platform, TradingView, MT4, MT5 and cTrader, plus iOS and Android apps and PAMM accounts. Learning resources include a demo account, webinars, video courses, CME Group education, a forex calculator, Trading Central analysis and economic and earnings calendars.

Deposits and withdrawals

Cards, bank transfer, Skrill, Perfect Money, PayPal and Bitcoin and Ether are listed. FxPro states it charges no fees on deposits or withdrawals (third-party bank fees may apply), processes deposits in about 10 minutes and processes withdrawals 24 hours a day on weekdays.

Regulatory record

We found no regulator fines against FxPro in our search of the FCA, CySEC and Securities Commission of The Bahamas.

Who it suits

A good fit: UK traders who want an FCA-regulated broker with FSCS coverage, and anyone who values a full range of platforms.

Look elsewhere if: Clients outside the UK who want a compensation scheme, or anyone who needs a published minimum deposit and typical spreads up front.
