Plus500 is a listed group (London Stock Exchange since 2013) with licensed entities in the UK, Cyprus, Australia, Singapore, the UAE, Japan, Canada and elsewhere. It offers CFDs only, on a single proprietary platform, and charges no commission. Its weak spots are transparency and choice: we could not find a published minimum deposit or typical forex spreads, and there is no MetaTrader or cTrader option.

Which entity are you joining?
Plus500’s regulator list shows entities in the UK, EU, Asia-Pacific, the Middle East, Canada, the Seychelles and the Bahamas. As with most groups, the protections you receive depend on which entity your account is opened with, so read the entity named in your client agreement.
Costs and pricing
Plus500 says it does not charge commissions and is mainly paid through the spread, and its homepage promotes 0% opening and closing fees. We did not find a ‘spreads from’ figure or a typical EUR/USD spread on the pages we reviewed, so you will need to check live pricing in the platform. Other listed costs are overnight funding, a wider spread when using a guaranteed stop, currency conversion of up to 0.7%, and an inactivity fee of up to US$10 per month after three months without logging in. UK retail forex leverage is capped at 1:30.
Platforms, tools and education
Everything runs on Plus500’s own platform (WebTrader, iOS and Android). It includes 100+ technical indicators, alerts, stop-loss and take-profit tools and a free demo with unlimited virtual funds. There is no MetaTrader, cTrader or TradingView option that we could find, and we did not find a structured education section.
Deposits and withdrawals
Plus500 lists Visa and Mastercard, PayPal, Skrill and bank transfer, with Apple Pay, Google Pay and Trustly on the UK site, and states 0% deposit and withdrawal fees (bank or card-issuer charges may still apply).
Regulatory record
We found no fines against Plus500 entities on the FCA’s 2025 and 2026 fines pages, and no other regulator action between 2022 and 2026 in our search.
Who it suits
A good fit: Beginners who want a simple, single-platform CFD experience with a listed, multi-regulated provider and no commission.
Look elsewhere if: Traders who want MT4, MT5, cTrader or TradingView, need published raw-spread pricing, or want structured education.
