Its global website, however, is operated by Stratos Global LLC in St Vincent and the Grenadines, which states it is not required to hold a financial services licence there. The pricing information we could find is stale, and ownership has changed hands, so a careful look at which entity you would join matters here. - [Exness review](https://brokerspulse.com/reviews/exness/): Exness stands out for the clarity of its pricing ladder (Standard from 0.2 pips with no commission, Pro from 0.1 pips, Zero and Raw Spread from 0.0 pips with published commission ranges) and for advertising instant withdrawals. Its regulatory structure is the main caution: Exness's own regulation page says its FCA and CySEC entities do not offer trading services to retail clients, and its retail-serving entities are mainly in the Seychelles, CuraƧao, the BVI, Belize and Mauritius, with an FSCA-licensed entity for South Africa. - [XM review](https://brokerspulse.com/reviews/xm/): XM is built for beginners: a US$5 minimum on Standard and Ultra Low accounts, negative balance protection, hedging and Islamic terms as standard, free webinars and live education rooms, and copy trading. The entity shown on xm.com when we checked was XM Global Limited, licensed by the Belize FSC, which has no compensation scheme stated. Its headline 'spreads as low as 0.8 pips' is a floor rather than an average. - [Plus500 review](https://brokerspulse.com/reviews/plus500/): Plus500 is a listed group (London Stock Exchange since 2013) with licensed entities in the UK, Cyprus, Australia, Singapore, the UAE, Japan, Canada and elsewhere. It offers CFDs only, on a single proprietary platform, and charges no commission. Its weak spots are transparency and choice: we could not find a published minimum deposit or typical forex spreads, and there is no MetaTrader or cTrader option. - [HFM review](https://brokerspulse.com/reviews/hfm/): HFM (formerly HotForex) has a strong beginner offer: low or zero minimums on some accounts, a broad education library, copy trading and PAMM, and Islamic accounts. Its regulatory page lists FCA, CySEC, FSCA, Seychelles and Kenyan entities. The point to understand is that the international account pages we read state that accounts are operated by HF Markets (SV) Ltd, a St Vincent and the Grenadines company that the regulatory page lists with no regulator. - [AvaTrade review](https://brokerspulse.com/reviews/avatrade/): AvaTrade, headquartered in Dublin, holds licences from the Central Bank of Ireland, ASIC, CySEC, the FSCA, Japan's FSA and Abu Dhabi's FSRA. It has real strengths in education, copy trading and platform variety. Its own regulation comparison page states that its British Virgin Islands entity, which serves many international clients, is not subject to European client protections. Fees for inactive accounts and thin commission disclosure hold its cost score down. - [Tickmill review](https://brokerspulse.com/reviews/tickmill/): Tickmill combines FCA, CySEC and FSCA licences with clearly published pricing: a Classic account with spreads from 1.6 pips and no commission, and a Raw account from 0.0 pips with US$3 per lot per side. The catch is the usual one: clients outside the UK, EU and South Africa are onboarded with the Seychelles entity, which has no compensation scheme stated. Education is thinner than at most rivals here. - [FxPro review](https://brokerspulse.com/reviews/fxpro/): FxPro offers an FCA-regulated UK entity that is an FSCS member, negative balance protection in its client agreement, and probably the broadest platform choice on our list: its own platform, MT4, MT5, cTrader and TradingView. Clients outside the UK are served by offshore entities (Bahamas, Seychelles) with no compensation scheme stated. It also does not publish a minimum deposit or a typical EUR/USD spread. - [FP Markets review](https://brokerspulse.com/reviews/fpmarkets/): FP Markets stands out for transparency on price: its spreads page carries a September 2026 date and shows average EUR/USD spreads of 1.2 pips on Standard and 0.1 pips on Raw, with a published US$3 per side commission on Raw. It also offers one of the broadest platform lists here. The negatives are structural: it reports a EUR 100,000 CySEC settlement from February 2026, and its regulation page lists a Saint Lucia entity with no named regulator, which makes it harder to see which licence covers which client. - [IG review](https://brokerspulse.com/reviews/ig/): IG is the longest-established name on our list: a London-listed group founded in 1974 that describes itself as a FTSE 100 company, with licensed entities in the UK, Germany, Switzerland, Dubai, Singapore, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. It scores highest for regulation and market range. It is not the cheapest option for active forex traders, and the protections you receive depend on which IG entity opens your account. - [Broker Reviews](https://brokerspulse.com/reviews/): Ten forex brokers reviewed against the same six weighted criteria, with the regulators behind each entity. - [Home](https://brokerspulse.com/): Independent forex broker reviews, comparisons, education and guides. ## Optional - [Agent (MCP protocol)](websites-agents.hostinger.com/brokerspulse.com/mcp) [comment]: # (Generated by Hostinger Tools Plugin)
